Rabbit is the only commercially available natural prey food for dogs and cats. It's an excellent source of protein for animals with allergies, digestive issues, or those who are watching their weight. Rabbit meat is higher in protein than beef, chicken, fish, etc. while also being the lowest in cholesterol and fat. Rabbit is also sustainable by nature, rabbits are extremely efficient at converting feed to muscle, and can produce 6lbs of meat using the same amount of feed and water as it would take to produce 1lb of beef! Our rabbits treats are the by-products from a large rabbitry that humanely raises rabbits for the restaurant industry, as well as a small local rabbit producer. Both farms grow their own feed and process their rabbits on site so there is full transparency.
